I'll show you how to make a great little portable stove from stuff you probably have laying around your house! It's perfect for camping, backpacking, and power outages.
I am not the inventor of this stove, and there are far better designs out there (Penny Stove is the best!) , but this pressure-based alcohol stove is by far the easiest tomake.

Materials:

2 pcs. aluminum can

Cotton balls

Alcohol (ethyl, isopropyl, denatured)
Cutter
Thumbtacks or push-up pins

 Procedure:

1. Cut the aluminum can. Poke the next one directly across from the first .Create more jet holes halfway in between the others.

2.  I used cotton balls as my insulation.

3. Put them together. Squeeze the halves together as tight as you can get it, making sure to keep
them level.

Testing:

1. Slowly add some Alcohol to your stove.
2. Make sure to allow it time to drip inside the stove.
3. Use a match or a lighter to preheat the stove from the bottom.
4. One it becomes too hot to touch, the preheating is complete.
5. Quickly use a match or lighter to light the fumes.

It's boiling.
