All PlayStation Vita games will be available in digital form, Sony said Tuesday, reconfirming a statement the company made earlier this year.

Speaking at a press conference in Germany, a Sony representative said gamers will be able to download every title released for the powerful PlayStation portable. Though physical versions will still be an option for many Vita games, they will all be available in the PlayStation Store starting from Day 1.

Sony said something similar in March, but the company’s track record of ambiguous statements had triggered some skepticism. Now that the gamemaker has confirmed the news multiple times, it seems inevitable.

The PlayStation 3 will also receive a $50 price drop, Sony said. It will now retail for $250.

Sony will release PlayStation Vita in Japan this holiday season, and across the ocean early next year.
